Pigment & Memory: A Continuum

Aurore Uwase Munyabera’s practice explores the relationship between inherited memory and unfolding experience. Her figurative watercolor paintings reflect on cultural memory, belonging, and the stories carried across generations, while her abstract pigment studies embrace movement, transformation, and the unknown possibilities of what comes next.

Together, these bodies of work examine the continuum between what we inherit, what we experience, and what we leave behind, honoring both the memories that shape us and the moments still being created.
